Costa that follows three teenage girls—Shobe, Aisha, and Suma—from Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, who dare to dream of freedom and determine their own futures by becoming the country's first women surfers. The powerful coming-of-age story won Best Documentary Feature at the Bushwick Film Festival and Coronado Island Film Festival, along with the Women in Surf Award at the Portuguese Surf Festival and Best Film for a Canadian Feature at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, showcasing their resistance against poverty, oppressive community judgment, and stifling family expectations.
